Long delighted to repay manager's faith

Shane Long said he was pleased to repay his manager's faith in him after scoring in Southampton's impressive 2-1 win away to Leicester City at the King Power Stadium. 

A mere two minutes after his side had been reduced to ten men, Long struck in the dying seconds of first half stoppage time to give the visitors a 2-0 lead. 

It was the Tipp man's first goal in all competitions since March last year.
